The Sales Director is responsible for leading and managing all sales activities to align with the company’s strategic direction and market dynamics. This role involves overseeing the sales team, developing sales plans, pricing strategies, and supporting procurement decisions to optimize sales performance.
Responsibilities:
A. Main Responsibilities
- Sales: Responsible for implementing and supervising all activities related to Sales to ensure alignment with company direction and market changes. - Procurement: Responsible for collecting and consulting meaningful information to help General Manager make effective procurement decisions.
B. Working Relationship
- Internal Relationship: All teams in JAF VN.
- External Relationship: Customers, suppliers and partners of JAF VN.
C. Detailed job responsibilies:
1. Management (20%)
- Discuss with General Manager, and set annual objectives and action plans for each team member.
- Assign, guide, supervise and evaluate the work of team members.
- Train and develop members on Sales skills and the ability to work more in line with Company direction.
- Guide and advise on handling problems for team members.
- Build and adjust processes, working manuals in charge.
2. Sales planing (10%)
- Propose short-term (1 year) sales plan in line with company direction (e.g. expansion, critical matters to tackle) and market changes.
3. Pricing (20%)
- Calculate, make and update reasonable price list to ensure sales performance achievement and maximizing profit.
4. Sales (10%)
- Participate with Sales members to conduct Sales activities & relationship building/ maintaining, especially with Key Accounts and long-term partners.
- Follow up and analyze sales data. Propose & implement approved adjustment for sales improvement.
5. Supporting Procurement (20%)
- Collect information from several sources (sales members, key accounts, networks, research,...) on market changes (price, buying power of each product, competitors' situation). Consult concise and meaningful information to help General Manager make effective procurement decisions.
- Propose procurement adjustments: what right products to buy - by which amount - at what price, to ensure best sales performance achievement.
6. Claim Management (10%)
- Evaluate each received claim. Make decision to solve claims flexibly and effectively.
- Propose solutions to solve complicated claims for General Manager.
7. Report (10%)
- Make assigned reports, including: sales report, market research report,...
