We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to lead and supervise our team of developers in Application and Web Services Development. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and coordination, ensuring high-quality project delivery within stipulated timelines.
Responsibilities:
1. Management:
- Provides supervision to the team of developers in Application/ Web Services Development.
- Focus is on mentoring, coaching, coordination as well as providing technical leadership.
- Project estimations, Project Management (Schedule, Bugs and Quality management).
- Negotiation with customers.
- Manages the project to ensure that it is completed within stipulated timeline while ensuring that work done meets the necessary requirements and quality.
- Motivating and developing the team.
- Other assignments from Manager.
2. Technical:
- Leads teams in the planning, designing and development of software applications or specialized utility programs /network and/ or hardware environment that will enhance the organization's/clients’ ability to achieve strategic goals and targets.
- Develop business continuity plan and framework.
- Provide technical guide, proper instruction to low level members.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT o Computer Science.
- Software Development in Java knowledge is MUST. Hands-on experience in other technologies such as Web API, AWS, Backend development experience is a big plus.
- Good knowledge with Hands-on experience in SQL/non-SQL databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Working experience in project management as Project Leader, Team Leader or BrSE.
- Experience in the estimation, and implementation of complex project.
- Familiar with software development life cycle such as Waterfall, Agile methodology.
- Experience in making specifications such as design and test specifications.
- Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
- Good at Japanese (JLPT N2+).
- Leadership skills is a plus.
