Human Resource Senior Staff manages overall HR operations such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and labor law compliance.
* Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations & Administration
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, HR records, and offboarding.
- Manage staff databases such as staff personal info, contract status, etc. and prepare contracts, personnel amendments, or termination notice.
- Support Managers in developing and running C&B policies, rewards programs, and health care plans.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and Japanese business practices.
- Work with Managers and Global HQ to create and apply policies for compensation, safety, welfare, and wellness.
- Follow up insurance benefits claims with vendors.
- Handle HR-related reports to Governments as requested, documentation, and internal audits.
- Monitor labor law changes and ensure compliance.
- Investigate compliance issues and support corrective actions.
- Support the General Admin Department to expatriate staff in the work permit and visa/temporary residency card application process.
Propose and test improvements to HR systems.
- Other tasks assigned by managers
2. Talent Acquisition & Development
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process for Vietnamese staff (mainly office-based staff).
- Work with department heads to forecast hiring needs.
- Coordinate employee training, onboarding programs, and development plans.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as a bridge between Japanese management and local staff; help resolve employee concerns professionally.
- Support internal communication and contribute to building a strong company culture.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and CSR programs.
- Making plans and implementing team building, internal activities, year-end party, and annual health check-ups.
- Support to implement employee benefits, conduct & implement internal communication activities/events as needed to maintain and develop employee experiences.
4. HR Policy & System Improvement
- Assist in reviewing and updating internal HR policies, SOPs, and manuals.
- Support the digitalization or streamlining of HR processes.
- Create programs to build company culture and recognize employees.
- Develop strategies to boost employee engagement aligned with business goals.
- Coordinate and maintain company’s documents as Member’s Council, Company Rule, Manuals, Approval Process; office properties & the company seal
