Sales Engineer provides technical support and explores business opportunities in the industrial sector, focusing on decarbonization and energy efficiency. The role includes customer visits, proposal preparation, market research, and coordination with partners to deliver customized solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical tasks
- Retain technical and sales competency by learning of the company’s product features and technology.
- Collect input data collected from customers, support company’s business units to clarify and calculate initial technical proposal; provide technical support to customer.

2. After-sales tasks
- Cold call, visit and maintain relationship with customers; maintain and improve the customer relationships
- Deliver technical documents and collect technical data from customers; support sales of spare parts and consumables of assigned products

3. Market research tasks
- Support and prepare market studies, long lists, short lists, analyze results and write reports and recommendation of viability of products, potential market segment and target customers in order to provide information for managers to make decision on business opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies. 

4. Sales & Marketing
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial decarbonization markets.
- Provide technical consultation and customized solutions for clients seeking emissions reduction, energy efficiency, and machinery upgrades.
- Networking with potential partners such as EPC contractors, manufacturing partners, etc. for cooperation and supply chain expansion
- Visit customer to promote sales, assess customer needs and potentials, deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations; collect customer’s technical concerns
- Collaborate with company’s divisions to tailor solutions to client needs; contribute to the preparation and submission of technical and financial proposals to customers.

5. Reporting
- Ensure timely delivery of reporting to Marketing Manager in Hanoi and General Director of MHI-Vietnam, as well as corresponding SBUs.

6. Corporate activities
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industrial events to improve company presence.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Accomplished sales skills, demonstrates value as supporting customer technically in the pre-sale process, while also driving sales at all stages.
- Strong ability and willingness to learn new technologies and products of the company.
- Excellent communication skills in mother tongue and English or Japanese, ability to communicate with colleagues and customers fluently.
- Willingness to travel domestic and internationally, to customers’ factories.

<Qualifications>
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal Engineering, Thermal and Refrigeration Systems, Industrial Heat Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in technical sales within the heavy industry sector.
