Reservations Specialist is responsible for handling guest inquiries and processing reservations accurately while providing excellent customer service. This position plays an important role in ensuring smooth booking operations, supporting billing, and coordinating with internal teams to meet guest expectations.
* Responsibilities:
- Handle guest inquiries via email, phone, and chat, processing reservations accurately and efficiently.
- Support invoicing and billing to maintain customer account accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest issues promptly.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and operations teams to prepare apartments according to guest expectations.
- Monitor occupancy and assist in implementing pricing strategies.
- Support the sales team to ensure smooth reservation operations.
- Japanese proficiency at an N2 level or higher. Comfortable reading, writing, and typing in Japanese on a computer.
- English intermediated level or above (Conversation, writing and reading)
∟80% of our customer are English speaking but we also have Japanese clients. So speaking in English is slightly more important.
- Willing to work physically in our Ho Chi Minh office.
- Willingness to travel to Tokyo once or twice a year.
- Temperament: consistency, quick action, and reliability are essential for success.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy and comfort using booking systems.
* Preferred Skills:
- Those who have working experience in Japanese company is a plus.
- Prior experience in Hotel or customer service roles is a plus.
- Have lived in Japan.
- Ability to communicate in English at a business level is a plus.
