Production Control Staff manages production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of footwear products. They work with different teams to solve logistics issues and meet market demand.
* Responsibility:
- Oversee the planning and coordination of production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of footwear products, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and market demand.
- Collaborate with the Head of Production to forecast and manage the resources necessary for production, including labor, equipment, and raw materials.
- Collaborate with product development, design, material and quality control teams to address any delivery or logistics challenges that may impact production schedules.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shoe factories, suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in delivery performance.
- Analyze shipment data and logistics trends to identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings.
- Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide updates on delivery status and logistics performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- From 3+ to 5+ years of experience in production control, order management, logistics within the footwear or related industries. Candidates who have worked for Nike, Adidas, New Balance, or major shipping companies are welcomed.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and demand planning software, with experience in forecasting and managing large-scale production workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proven track record of improving delivery performance and driving supply chain efficiencies.
- Business level fluency in English is required. Additional proficiency of Japanese is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point and data analysis tools.
