The Supervisor of Technical Planning Dept manages procurement, supplier development, product development, and quality activities. The role ensures smooth technical planning, oversees changes and claims, drives improvements.
* Responsibilities:
1. Reallocation & Local Procurement Activities
- Prepare a list of target parts.
- Collect the latest drawings and prepare request letters for quotations to new suppliers.
- Summarize quotations and evaluate benefits.
- Issue sample POs and manage progress.
2. Initial Sample Approval Management
- Register in Prones, deliver samples, and handle related warehouse procedures.
- Issue initial sample approval forms and manage sample PO payments.
3. New Supplier Development
- Research new suppliers’ capabilities through the internet and references, plan visits and evaluations.
- Handle supplier evaluation procedures.
4. QMS (Regulation Review) Management
- Evaluate adequacy of current regulations and revise as needed, then confirm effectiveness.
Standardize missing regulations.
5. Specification Changes (including request forms)
- Review content of specification change requests and create internal rollout plans.
- Manage overall progress.
6. New Product Development Management
- Define product specifications.
- Create and share implementation plans with related departments.
- Manage overall progress.
7. Design Change Handling
- Clarify design change details and share with relevant departments.
- Evaluate productivity at first product confirmation after design change.
- Prepare monthly design change implementation reports.
8. Claim Handling
- Clarify problem details and investigate root cause.
- Plan temporary and permanent countermeasures, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Share countermeasures with relevant departments.
9. IQC/OQC & Production Defect Handling
- Investigate causes, propose countermeasures, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Share countermeasures with relevant departments.
- Prepare quality and work standard manuals.
10. Others
- Manage training activities.
- Handle 4M change management.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Work on inspection time reduction activities.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports.
