The main responsibility of this role is to conduct laboratory tests in packaging material lots received, using precision instruments and visual observation, to ensure the consistent quality of the items, as well as necessary services to attend QC´s demands on time and cost/benefit efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Sampling and conducting tests in packaging material following the work instructions and recording the obtained results.
- Analyze data and interpret test results, including certificates of analysis issued by suppliers, to ensure the goods comply with their respective specifications.
- Be responsible for communicating with the stakeholders about any quality deviation on the goods tested, recommending corrective actions when requested.
- Be responsible for sticking identification labels in lots after having the results.
- Be responsible for retention samples.
- Ensure that laboratory equipment is kept cleaned and proper working, identifying and troubleshoot problems.
- Ensure that laboratory cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- Participate in internal assessments and audits as required.
- Other jobs, when demanded.
- Follow strictly the company’s rules, policy, ethics, and compliance manual.

* Qualifications (Mandatory)
- Ability with Windows tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Visual acuity (color blindness test).
* Qualification (Desirable)
- Previous experience as quality control / laboratory analyst / packaging material lab / packaging material
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, food technology or another sciences field.
- Intermediate English level.
