The Production Management Manager will oversee the efficient coordination and management of the production process, ensuring timely procurement of materials and tools, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills to manage the end-to-end production workflow, from ordering raw materials to final product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Submit POs for quotations for purchase and repair of tools necessary for production.
- Check inventory (raw materials, intermediate products, boxes, etc.) based on purchase order POs for orders received.
- Coordinates the production process (ordering raw materials and packaging materials - molding process - secondary processing process).
- Delivery date reply.
- English: Must be able to use English for business purposes (to be used internally with staff from various departments).
- Japanese: N2 or equivalent (communication with Japanese people and cooperation with the head office in Japan).
- Experience working for a Japanese manufacturing company.
- Able to manage production and delivery schedule (inventory control and process progress).
- Good at management such as staffing.
- Familiarity with PC such as Excel.
* Preferred Skills:
- Ability to respond to and provide instructions during audits and problems with customs, etc. (i.e., knowledge and practical experience with imports and exports).
- Experience in the same position in a plastic molding or processing manufacturing company.
- Those who have worked with Japanese people for a long time and have always communicated with them in Japanese.
- Those who have studied or worked in Japan.
