Mô tả công việc

Merchandising Manager is responsible for managing procurement and merchandising strategies to ensure stable supply, quality, and revenue growth. The role also oversees inventory, supplier relations, and coordinates with other departments for smooth operations.

* Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:
- Responsible for developing strategies, managing, and optimizing all procurement activities of the company.
- Establish KPIs for procurement and supply chain operations. Ensure a stable and cost-effective supply of goods (entertainment equipment, game machines, toys, consumer goods, F&B ingredients, etc.) that meets quality standards, delivery times, inventory levels, warranty, and absolute safety for children.
- Develop strategies to diversify sale goods (F&B, DIY, toys…) and prize items for crane game & redemption game machines to drive revenue growth.

2. Procurement Management :
- Conduct market research; identify, evaluate, and select reputable domestic and international suppliers that meet company's requirements & Vietnam safety standards.
- Negotiate for the best contract terms, pricing, payment policies, delivery schedules and warranty.
- Manage the procurement process and monitor the supply chain process from supplier to branches (playground in shopping Mall). Ensure goods are delivered on time, in full, and meet quality and safety standards.
- Effectively manage inventory levels (equipment, toys, supplies, F&B goods & ingredients, etc.), ensuring optimal stock, avoiding loss, damage, or expiry.
- Manage logistics, Im–Exportation, transportation, and warehousing activities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.

3. Budget Management & reporting:
- Develop and manage the operational budget for the Merchandising department.
- Track, analyze data, and prepare regular reports on operational performance, costs, inventory status, supplier performance, etc., for the General Manager & Board of Director.

4. Team Management:
- Recruit, train, coach and develop procurement staff.
- Assign tasks, supervise, and evaluate employee performance.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Sales-Operations, Marketing, Accounting, Maintenance and construction departments to ensure smooth business operations.

Yêu cầu công việc

1. Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in: Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or equivalent.
- In-depth understanding of procurement principles, supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics.
- Knowledge of the supplier market for goods related to the children's entertainment service industry or equivalent (play equipment, toys, F&B, consumables, etc.).
- Knowledge of commercial law, contracts, import/export regulations.

2. Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain management.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar managerial role (Team Lead, Manager).
- Experience working in retail or children’s entertainment services companies is preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems or Procurement management systems is an advantage.

3. Skills:
- Leadership and Team Management skills.
- Negotiation and Persuasion skills.
- Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making skills.
- Effective Planning and Organizational skills.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficiency in English (4 skills), knowing Japanese is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software for procurement. Knowing how to use Power BI is a plus.
