The Investment Manager is responsible for overseeing development projects in the Vietnam market. Key tasks include reviewing legal documents, coordinating project schedules, negotiating with partners, and preparing internal reports. The role also involves acquiring new projects by communicating with agents, conducting due diligence, and preparing financial models. The Investment Manager acts as the main contact point for partners and performs research and analysis on market trends and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Managing the tasks relating to on-going development projects in Vietnam market, including but not
limited to:
- Reviewing legal docs, updating overall timeline, negotiation/finalization/execution, and
closing of NDA, LOI, MOU, Term-sheets, JAV, SPA, SHA etc.
- Coordinating between the company’s relevant teams with those of the partners in
monitoring the schedule of the on-going projects (construction, sales & marketing,
handover…).
- Acting as the main contact point from the company, discussing, negotiating directly with
the partners to achieve the company/ project’s targets and to complete the required tasks.
- Preparing internal reports and explaining to superiors about the project situation.
- Executing the related tasks to acquire new projects, including but not limited to:
- Communicating with the agents or the third parties to obtain and access investment opportunities as well as validate assumptions in financial models.
- Conducting background research and initial due diligence on potential partners and
projects.
- Conducting market research (with or without the support of third parties and/or internal
market research team).
- Preparing financial models and initial investment appraisal documents for internal review
and evaluation.
- Performing general research and analysis relating to macroeconomics, geopolitics, and regulations…
- Translating/interpreting the contents relating to on-going/potential projects and taking meeting
minutes when required.
- Other tasks as required by the superiors.
