We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and innovation within our energy sector, focusing on renewable energy opportunities while sustaining our core natural gas business.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies for new energy projects.
- Identify and assess business opportunities in renewable energy while maintaining core natural gas business.
- Develop initial project proposals, build business cases, and support partnership discussions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to explore and pilot renewable energy initiatives.
- Track industry trends, regulatory updates, and technological advancements in energy transition.
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and risk assessment for potential projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in business development, management skills, strategy planning, or market research in energy or renewable sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate new business models and emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of natural gas, LNG, CNG, fuel switching and renewable energy (biomass, biogas, solar, energy transition).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluency in English; Japanese is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for project assessment and business development activities.
