We are seeking a Sole Engineering Staff member to join our team. This role involves collaborating with the factory design team to develop high-quality and high-value-added soles that are feasible for mass production. The candidate will have a strong understanding of sole materials, quality control, and production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the factory design team to create high-quality, high-value-added soles with high mass-production feasibility through multiple sample production runs.
- Communicate with the sole material, quality control, and production control teams to ensure that mass production can be implemented based on material, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Build strong relationships with shoe factories, sole suppliers, and MOLD suppliers, and investigate and test new sole molding technologies to ensure that they can be adapted for INLINE items.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of shoe factories and sole suppliers.
- At least 5 years of experience in sole design, drawing creation, and MOLD creation in the footwear or related industry. Those who are familiar with the manufacturing, process, and structure of footwear.
- Those who have worked at Nike, Adidas, New Balance, or major sportswear manufacturers are welcome.
- Age: preferably 27 to 30 years old.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate across departments.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Business-level Japanese is required. Other language skills (English, Mandarin) are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
