We are seeking a Quality Control Assistant Manager to oversee the general quality control operations within our metal manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, supporting both external and internal audits, handling customer complaints efficiently, and managing the progress of quality control tasks.

Responsibilities:
- General quality control of metal manufacturing plant
- Reporting to the head office in Japan, responding to e-mails and preparing reports
- Provide technical guidance and support to subordinates
- Analysis and discussion of defect information (analysis and discussion of aggregate data extracted by related departments)
- External and internal audit support (response to audits by customers and internal audits by the business unit)
- Complaint handling (collection of information from related departments and preparation of reports for customers)
- Progress management of quality control operations, creation of a system for quality control operations (system reinforcement)
- Quality statistics (mainly compilation and reporting) and management
- Creation, maintenance and management of QC process chart
- Experience in quality statistics (mainly compilation and reporting) and management

- Ability to communicate in Japanese or English.
- Experience working in a metal processing plant, with knowledge of cutting and surface treatment (plating), and experience managing production lines or quality.
- Experience with quality control methods (FTA, FMEA, statistical control) and reliability technology (MTBF, etc.)
- Experience in production engineering (process design, equipment installation, etc.) and process improvement related to quality.

* Preferred Skills:
- Experience in initial operational setup in a Japanese-affiliated company.
- Experience in a Japanese-affiliated manufacturing company.
- Experience working in an EPE company.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001.
