Production Engineer is responsible for setting up and maintaining production machines, improving production processes, and supporting new model development. This role ensures smooth operation, analyzes performance, and works on optimizing resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment based on production needs.
* Responsibilities:
- Set up new machine: Layout, setup mechanical parts and teaching machine.
- Troubleshooting machine to ensure continuous operation of machine and maintenance machine periodically.
- Analysis to improve performance (improved tact time, loss time, loss material, process) meet on the capacity of production.
- Count tact time for each process, based on that calculate capacity and optimize manpower, method and machine.
- Design Jig for new model and calculate the amount of Jig for new model.
- Develop new models: based on customer requirements, confirm the conditions needed to prepare for the new model. (Materials, machine, Jig, human... ), Research the process to apply to the new model , analyze and evaluate results of trial run, issue SOP, check sheet for processes.
- Other tasks as requirement from managers.
