Provide production management guidance in the production of garments (T-shirts, pants, shirts, outerwear, innerwear, and other garments) and sundries at contract factories located in Vietnam and other countries in Southeast Asia.
*Main duties include the following:
1. Delivery management
- Management of schedules from the product development sample stage to mass production, shipment, and launch
- Confirmation of production capacity and production process LT prior to mass production
- Confirmation of daily production progress and whether there are any abnormalities in the progress
- Reporting of the above to the Production Department at the head office (Tokyo) and linkage with the above
2. Quality control
- Planning of measures to predict and prevent fabric/sewing quality problems in the product development stage
- Confirmation of the quality of mass-produced products (continuous confirmation that the products are produced with appropriate quality from pre-production to the end of production)
- On-site inspection at the factory/requests for improvement and progress checks
- Investigation of the causes of quality defects, planning of countermeasures, and confirmation of the progress of improvements
- Reporting of the above to the Production Department at the head office (Tokyo) and linkage with the above
3. Business trip required
Periodic visits to factories in the suburbs of Ho Chi Minh City / Business trips within Vietnam (2-3 times a month); future business trips to neighboring Southeast Asian countries are also possible.
