The Maintenance Mechanical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of mechanical equipment and systems within the organization. This role involves performing regular maintenance, diagnosing issues.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures in equipment or systems quickly to minimize operational downtime
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues before they cause breakdowns.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules (preventive, predictive,...) and procedures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals to support maintenance jobs.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent repeated failures
- Maintain the maintenance records and documentation following the procedure.
- Ensure the maintenance job complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- High-risk equipment management.
- Collaborate with other departments for related jobs to optimize equipment performance.
- Manage spare parts inventory and order replacements as needed.
- Use Autocad 2d/3D to make drawings for fabrication equipment.
- Provide technical support and train the technicians as required to develop team performance.
- Other tasks assigned by the Superior.
