Chief Accountant is responsible for managing all accounting and finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper tax filings. The role also covers financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and providing analysis, budgeting.
* Responsibilities:
- Supervision of preparation and submission of financial statements .(balance sheet, income statement, etc.)
- Overall management and guidance of accounting department operations.
- Management of accounting processes (journal entries, bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, etc.) and maintenance of accounting records.
- Supervision of tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, personal income tax, etc.)
- Handling tax audits and inspections.
- Establishment and improvement of internal control systems related to accounting and finance.
- Providing financial analysis, cash flow management, and budgeting data to support decision-making.
