The Business Development Manager drives company growth by finding new opportunities, building client relationships, and closing deals. The role requires proactive outreach, understanding customer needs, and providing fast, efficient, and digital solutions.
* Responsibilities:
- Identify target companies, develop, and execute lead acquisition strategies
- Actively approach prospects through multiple channels (cold calls, emails, social media, events, etc.)
- Execute proposals to contract closing at startup speed
- Understand customers’ supply chain challenges and propose optimal routes, costs, and lead times
- Incorporate DX (Digital Transformation) elements—such as online quotes, tracking, and document automation—into proposals
- Smoothly hand over new customers to Customer Success after order acquisition
- Continuously refine targeting strategies based on market analysis (competitor research, trend forecasting)
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for new revenue and gross profit
