Mô tả công việc

The Business Development Manager drives company growth by finding new opportunities, building client relationships, and closing deals. The role requires proactive outreach, understanding customer needs, and providing fast, efficient, and digital solutions.

* Responsibilities: 

- Identify target companies, develop, and execute lead acquisition strategies
- Actively approach prospects through multiple channels (cold calls, emails, social media, events, etc.)
- Execute proposals to contract closing at startup speed
- Understand customers’ supply chain challenges and propose optimal routes, costs, and lead times
- Incorporate DX (Digital Transformation) elements—such as online quotes, tracking, and document automation—into proposals
- Smoothly hand over new customers to Customer Success after order acquisition
- Continuously refine targeting strategies based on market analysis (competitor research, trend forecasting)
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for new revenue and gross profit

Yêu cầu công việc

- 3+ years of corporate sales experience (logistics, trade, or B2B startup experience preferred)
- Basic knowledge of international logistics (ocean, air, trucking) and customs procedures
- Proven track record in new business development
- Autonomous sales experience in a startup or new business environment
- Business communication skills in English (email and conversation)
- Proficiency in using business tools (CRM, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
- Ability to create and execute action plans independently and demonstrate results with numbers

* Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a digital forwarding or logistics tech company
- Involvement in logistics DX projects
- Experience handling special cargo (dangerous goods, reefer, oversized cargo, etc.)
- Multilingual skills (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc.)
- Experience working in a global team
