System Engineer (Linux & Networking)

- Responsible for analysis, strategic planning, project management and support for all issues inside and outside the Linux environment.
- Ensure the company's internal Linux operating system, applications and corporate websites are in good working order, not compromised by any act of vandalism.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the development, installation, and support of all Linux systems in a hybrid Linux/Windows environment.
- Coordinate and direct the establishment of new systems, development and implementation of applications, enhancement of existing systems; review, evaluate and develop offers for purchase/installation and/or upgrade of new hardware/software as needed.
- Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of short-term and long-term policies, goals and plans; Develop tracking and evaluation programs to support the achievement of set goals.
- Troubleshooting and on-site network support.
- Perform related work when required.
